While time in the sun is one of life’s great pleasures, there is a price to be paid if you do not properly protect your skin, namely, sun damage and advanced aging. (I shared in my recent blog that protection should include a mineral-based “clean” sunscreen. ) I wished I had been more diligent about this in my earlier years when I ran, played tennis, and did yard work without always using proper protection.
I cannot take those days back, but thanks to Restoracell with powerful blue copper peptides, I am reversing some of the damage caused by too many unprotected days in the sun. The GHK-Cu (blue copper peptides) in Restoracell invigorates aging and damaged stem cells and removes damaged proteins while facilitating skin repair and renewal improving hyperpigmentation and photodamage.
Restoracell Stem Cell Awakening Serum is enhanced with kelp extracted from brown seaweed which also provides healing of sun-damaged skin.
In addition to skin repair, Restoracell even protects from UV-free radicals. The GHK in Restoracell produces a small proline-rich antioxidant protein that protects outer skin cells from oxidative damage.
For best results, I apply Stem Cell Awakening Serum to my face, neck, and sometimes my arms underneath sunscreen before I go out in the sun (even if I applied first thing in the morning.)
After sun exposure, I wash my face and apply Restoracell serum on my face and hands. At night, I apply the Restoracell Eye and Lash GHK-Cu Advanced and the Skin Awakening Moisturizer.
The moisturizer contains Vitamin E which soothes skin and fights inflammation as well as Kukui nut oil which forms a protective barrier against environmental damage. (It is often used to treat sun and windburns.)
I regularly exfoliate with alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) because they increase the effects of the copper peptides. They work to loosen and exfoliate old and worn-out layers of skin so that new layers rebuild more quickly.
We can’t take back those prolonged days in the sun but we can take back our youthful skin with Restoracell.
